AHS has an exciting opportunity for Clinical Nurse Educators in
our system-wide Clinical Education department! We are seeking
individuals who have experience in nursing education as well as
previous bed-side nursing experience to help support the
development and delivery of timely education to our staff.
As a Clinical Educator II (Blank) with Alameda Health System,
you will provide expertise and education to clinicians across the
health system. As a guide and consultant to our staff, you will
have an opportunity to impact patient care in a variety of clinical
settings, such as our Level 1 Trauma Center, Skilled Nursing
Facilities, and our Psychiatric Hospital. You will develop,
validate, and enhance nursing education for the system, promoting
the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient nursing care.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing;
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Bachelor's degree in
related field. Master's degree in Nursing, Busines, Public Health,
Public Policy and/or Education is preferred.
Experience: Five (5) years of relevant nursing experience in an
acute care setting and one (1) year of experience with orientation
and education of nursing staff in clinical setting; Experience in
(Blank preferred) experience in education program design and
evaluation using adult learning principles.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid license to practice as a
Registered Nurse in the State of California. BLS Certifications
issued by the American Heart Association. PALS & ACLS
Certifications should be obtained within three (3) months of
employment, if assigned to work in areas where PALS and/or ACLS are
