Job SummaryThe Operational Effectiveness Coordinator provides recruiting coordination support to all facets of the Talent team, partnering with leaders to achieve goals for the Talent Organization. The Coordinator will possess strong calendaring skills, problem solving skills, be highly skilled at coordination and a have a high level of resourcefulness. The Coordinator must be able to multitask and prioritize activities to meet rigorous deadlines. This role will act as the connector to the broader Coordination team and will work closely alongside the Talent Coordination Lead to build strong connectivity between Talent Acquisition & Mobility. Coordinators collaborate closely with the Talent team, internal clients, and the Executive and Administrative Assistant community. The Coordinator will contribute to and/or be responsible for Talent projects, reporting and special initiatives. Primary goal is to act as central liaison for Talent coordination and administrative functions. May be asked to provide support to executive recruiting coordination.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage initiative driven calendar, aligning objectives and priorities across all leaders within the Talent organization.Manage scheduling, travel arrangements and support activities for interviews for both on-site and off-site locations delivering a superior experience to both internal and external clients.Prepare, create, manage and track critical inputs and materials for work sessions & discussionsDocument, distribute & track output and action items from discussionsFacilitate progression of key deliverables and milestones in partnership with Talent Leaders.Drafts and distributes communications to various stakeholder audiencesLeads employee engagement & celebrations that are emblematic of the Blue Shield culture.Efficiently prioritizes workload. Meet deadlines or communicates request for extension.May provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition department.Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.Knowledge and ExperienceRequires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.Typically, requires minimum of 5 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.Proven track record of consistently delivering error-free work results in a fast-paced work environment.Outstanding customer service oriented communication skills.Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work effectively in an environment with competing demands.Ability to remain flexible and adaptable within a highly dynamic changing environment and still deliver on deadlines.Team player willing to assist wherever there is a need. Will potentially float as support where needed.Systems thinking and the ability to identify upstream and downstream impacts to the hiring experience.Ability to pivot quickly and make changes in a highly fluid environment.Exercises astute judgment and discretion in handling personal information with a high degree of professionalism & confidentiality.Must have exceptional customer service skills, including demonstrated success interacting with both internal and external customers.Previous experience managing the varied needs of multiple recruiters or prior recruiting experience strongly preferred.Take a multidimensional Approach to solving problem.Taleo experience preferred.Previous experience with scheduling complex interviews through MS Outlook.Additional InformationAbout Company: At Blue Shield of California we are parents, leader, students, visionaries, heroes, and providers.
