Position SummaryAre you looking to be part of a growing team? renegade.bio is seeking an IT Systems Administration superstar to join our stellar on-site technical support team. This is more than a job but an opportunity to apply yourself to something meaningful and necessary. As our IT Systems Admin, you will be working directly with our clinical laboratories and staff to troubleshoot and advise on all IT related issues. Our IT experts provide 24/7 on-call technical and system administration support with hardware, software and various IT platforms that enable our day-to-day operations. We are looking for someone who is both skilled and passionate about making a difference in the communities we serve.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide on-site technical support for our clinical laboratory and collection-site staff
  • Provide remote-on hands support to other personnel as required
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support schedule rotation
  • Provide clear and concise instructions for documented common issues
  • Provide ad hoc training for various software packages
  • Provide admin assistance with NinjaRMM, ITGlue, training platforms and other SaaS applications as they arise
  • Provide support for GCP, Google Enterprise, Google Identity Access Management, Apple/iOS, Windows, Chromebooks, Linux machines etc.
  • Responsible for the setup, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network systems, and software applications
  • Maintain inventory of various IT equipment while performing routine technical assistance and maintenance duties
  • Collaborate with other team members and handle all support requests with courtesy and professionalism
    Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field
    • Minimum of 3 years with Apple/iOS/Mac, and Windows desktop operating systems,
    • GCP, Google Enterprise, Google IAM, and Linux knowledge is plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication of complex multistep procedures
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to sooth customers experiencing high stress situations
    • Experience with support request ticketing (HelpScout) software and the general workflow of support ticketing
    • Experience with common laptop, desktop and printer hands on support.
    • General scripting experience on multiple operating systems (PowerShell preferred)
    • Experience within a laboratory or healthcare setting.
    • Familiarity with HIPAA/HITECH or similar data privacy regulations.
    • A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications are a plus.
