No jerks.The Resident Communicator is responsible for overseeing all communication required for our tenanted properties. This role will require a high level of customer service along with a task-based mindset. The Resident Communicator will partner with the Leasing Coordinator to ensure all leasing processes are completed with a high level of customer care. This role will report to the Head of Leasing and Resident Services.What You Will Do --- Demonstrate superior customer service and integrity with a commitment to innovation, efficiency and fiscally responsible activity. --- Oversee all tenant communication including move-in, renewal, and move-out inquiries. --- Manage communication within the tenant portal. --- Follow-up with work-order status and internal communications to ensure timely response times. --- Communicate clearly and concisely with details to internal team. --- Complete and update information in relevant systems (Yardi, Salesforce, etc.) --- Manage customer feedback surveys and follow ups --- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, including all laws governing Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws pertaining to property management or residential leasing. --- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned. --- Ability to work overtime as needed.What You Bring With You --- High School degree --- 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in similar positions or within the Real Estate industry --- Understanding of lease application process preferred --- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service --- Ability to handle a high call volume while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor --- Must have knowledge & understanding of basic technology and be able to use internet & various computer programs --- Microsoft Office, internet and other basic computer skills --- Yardi experience preferred --- Bilingual a plusFor our regular full-time roles we offer a great benefits package!Competitive compensationMedical, Vision and Dental for you (95%) and your dependents (65%)401kFlexible time off and sick daysSupplemental bonus to support "work from home" office needsEquity incentives to give you a stake in the Company's futureWe are an upbeat and collaborative work cultureVirtual company-sponsored outingsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
