Job Description:
About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate Data Scientist.
The successful candidate will turn data into information,
information into insight and insight into business
decisions.ResponsibilitiesInterpret data, analyze results using
statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.Develop and
implement data collection systems, data analytics and other
strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.Develop
custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.Use
predictive modelling to solve variety of Business Problems.Acquire
data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain
databases/data systems.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or
patterns in complex data sets.Locate and define new process
improvement opportunities.Be a member of the Data Science team and
help in code review processes.RequirementsExpertise regarding data
models, database design development, data mining and segmentation
techniques.Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting tools
(Tableau), databases (SQL etc), programming (R, Python).Knowledge
of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression,
properties of distributions, statistical tests etc.) and experience
with applications.Strong analytics skill with the ability to
collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of
information with attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of a
variety of machine learning techniques/models (k-means, decision
trees, random forest etc.)Expertise in writing and reviewing SQL
QueriesGood knowledge in various machine
learningQualification/ExperienceMaster's Degree4-7 Years of
