This is an exciting time to join Sensing Guidance and Navigation
Center Of Excellence engineering team as we develop new inertial
products used on many versatile platforms varying from planes,
trains, automobiles to satellites and launch vehicles.
You will execute engineering tasks as part of cross-functional team
on new product development programs responsible for concept
architecture, requirements, design, analysis, and test. The
specifics of this role are focused on design, analysis and test of
inertial sensors products over a wide range of operational
environments for Commercial, Defense and Space customers.

Key Responsibilities
---Execute project subtasks (architecture, requirement definition,
circuit design, layout review, analysis, and test, etc.) by
following established engineering methodologies for new hardware
development
---Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project
and product requirement compliance
---Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages via
presentations and in writing to a variety of technical audiences
including leadership and external customers
---Consult with suppliers to ensure product and project
compliance
---Lead the electrical portion of product certification for
customer acceptance
---Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal
project audits to stakeholders
---Identify and execute cost, schedule, and technical efficiency
improvements
---Travel within US and/ or internationally: 10%

MUST HAVE
---Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer engineering
---6+ years' electrical engineering experience
---Significant lab experience testing and debugging complex
electronic circuits
---US citizenship, due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
---Significant experience working with oscilloscopes, spectrum
analyzers and logic analyzers to characterize and solve problems in
electronics circuit cards
---Strong aptitude for low noise analog and sensor interface design
and analysis, signal processing and conversion
---Strong SPICE simulation experience including parametric
modification and validation including Monte Carlo technique
---Knowledge of High speed microprocessor based circuit card
design, analysis and testing
---Ability to perform Tolerance analysis
---Familiarity with IBIS models
---Experience with product requirement qualification and testing -
DO-160 or similar
---Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations
of internal and external customers
---Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little
supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things
done
---Ability to consistently make timely decisions while balancing
risk
