Organization: ABSMC-Summit Campus Position Overview: -As part of
the Diagnostic Imaging Team, the Radiologic technologist performs
all x-ray procedures requested by providers. The position requires
acquisition of high quality images, maintain data for quality
management, excellent customer service skills and the exercise of
mature and independent judgment. This position closely adheres to
the mission by enhancing the health, wellness and quality of life
in the communities. Job Description: EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required
degree or diploma.
Successful completion of AMA Accredited School of Radiologic
Technology. Must be registered by the ARRT. Other certification may
be required if department develops in other modalities.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
Must maintain licenses and certifications.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
1 year of clinical and practical experience during Radiologic
Technology Training is essential
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
--- Knowledge of Radiologic Instrumentation operation and quality
control procedures is necessary.
--- Knowledge of departmental computer systems operations is
essential. ( EPIC programs, including Radiant, PACS)
--- Ability to perform Radiologic examinations of excellent
technical quality, in an efficient manner.
