  • This is a clinical position where the incumbent performs neuro-diagnostic testing including EEG studies in both the outpatient ambulatory and inpatient settings.
  • Incumbent must be technically adept, have excellent patient care and customer service skill sets, and be able to work with severely ill pediatric patient populations.
    • Job Requirements
    • Education: High School graduate or equivalent; graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostics is preferred, however, a combination of education and on-the-job training may be accepted in lieu of an accredited training program.
    • Experience: Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary health provider team. 1 year of experience as a EEG Technologist preferred.
    • Required: AHA BLS Certification, REEGT, High School Diploma

      • Check UD to verify certifications required. AHA only (RQI acceptable).
      • BLS required for all Nursing and ancillary staff. AHA only (RQI acceptable).
      • PALS required for all RNs. AHA Only (RQI acceptable)
      • NRP required for Respiratory Care Practitioner. AAP only.
      • Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start.
      • Anesthesia Tech: National Certification preferred
      • Central Processing Tech I/II: National Certification required
      • Clinical Lab Scientist: National Certification & State License required
      • Clinical Social Worker I/II: CA ASW/SW required
      • Medical Social Worker II: CA ASW/SW: required
      • Neurology Technician: Not required
      • OR Tech: Operating Room Technician training course or certification preferred
      • Orthopedic Tech: Not required
      • Patient Care Assistant: CA CNA license required
      • Respiratory Care Practitioner II: National Certification & State License required
