Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director, the
International and Out-of-State Admissions Specialist is available
to students, families, the campus community, and the general public
to interpret, enforce and explain University policies and
regulations. The incumbent is responsible for all phases of
admission eligibility evaluation of both freshman and transfer
students based on self-reported information, official transcripts,
and other pertinent documents. The International and Out-of-State
Admissions Specialist will independently represent Undergraduate
Admissions to out-of-state and international students at high
schools and community colleges in the Pacific Northwest by
providing oversight at various programs and events and
participating in school visits, and college fairs. This position is
entirely remote and the incumbent is to be based in Pacific
Northwest, Greater Seattle area preferred.
The salary range for the International and Out-of-State Admissions
Specialist is $59,000 - $103,400 annually. However, the expected
pay scale for this position is $59,000 - $66,948. We base salary
offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure
and certifications, experience, and other business and
organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a
UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take
over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all

agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or
local government directives may impose additional requirements
