Location after SIP is lifted - TBD. Our new headquarters is located
in Oakland. TOP THINGS:1. 3-5 year of financial experience (Tools:
SAP, excel, etc.)2. 3-5 years of telecom and / contracts
experience3. Excellent communication skills Equipment required:
reliable internet access - Analyzing, tracking and reporting
investments o Working with business partners to ensure the new
lease line submissions follow current procedures and provide
guidance when needed. - Supporting other telecom expense management
resources as needed o Proficiencies: (Full Cycle AP & AR),
Microsoft Office/Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookup, Index/Match),
QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), Oracle/SAP ERP, Tableau, Power
BI***CLIENT LAPTOP WILL BE PROVIDED*** Position SummaryThe IT
Planning Analyst will process new lease line requests, deactivate
lease lines, provide operational analysis, ad hoc reporting, along
with developing metrics for the department. The IT Planning Analyst
job family provides planning, product, business, and operations
management analysis and support in the following areas: planning,
research support, data analysis and reporting, process governance.
Job ResponsibilitiesProcessing New Account Set up and Invoices---
Process Telecom lease requests and telecom Invoices--- Validate
invoices received against invoices expected (missing data, etc.)---
Process invoices according to schedule to prevent late payment
fees--- Invoice exceptions are identified, investigated, and
resolved prior to releasing payment approval. Perform Invoice
Auditing--- Reconcile invoices against contract rates, tariffs, and
price plans, and customer service records.--- Review assigned
accounts for rate plan optimization opportunities Manage
Accounts--- Review and modify account setup to properly associate
service type to the correct product type, general ledger account,
and line item transaction grouping.--- Manage remit to address
changes--- Implement cost allocation program and respond to
questions and concerns from the business areas. Review contract
invoices, identify disparities, and resolve issues with the
vendors.--- Read invoice account notes to stay abreast of upcoming
account management changes--- Implement B2B services as technology
becomes available to reduce invoice processing life cycle. Migrate
Accounts to New Application--- Provide required services to migrate
assigned vendor accounts onto new application--- Serve as a
resource to project managers to educate and assist with project
management processes of new lease lines and/ deactivating lease
lines--- Ensures project control systems are in place and
integrates project data--- Produce insightful reports that can be
shared with and actioned by Senior Leadership.--- Conceptualize and
build centralized tools (including dashboards) that the Solutions
Delivery and broader teams can use to extract data/insights for
daily business management in an automated manner.--- Prepare
reports through gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and
information; prepares presentation materials for management
reports.--- Assist in the initiation, conducting and coordinating
studies and analysis on IT operations, financial reviews; and
analyzing programs to ensure that program goals and work plans are
on target.--- Participates and assists in the preparation of the
annual business plans for the assigned IT functional area, and
coordinates contract or resource management efforts including
making recommendations based on analysis work.--- Enter financial
data into tracking system, and compile regular and ad-hoc financial
status reports.--- Record and monitor project issues, risks and
change requests.--- Record and monitor project action logs and
decision logs. QualificationsMinimum:--- Bachelor of Arts / Science
in accounting, business, finance, similar field OR equivalent work
experience--- 4 years of general business experience---
Understanding of financial systems and reporting tools--- Knowledge
of business and financial planning, professional concepts as they
apply to the IT organization--- Experience with budgeting
process--- Strong organizational business understanding--- Advanced
Microsoft Suite knowledge in Excel, Project, Access Word; able to
create pivot tables--- Advanced business analysis research and
problem-solving skills.--- Work independently on small to medium
projects as a project team member or occasionally as a leader
Desired:--- Five or more years related budget, financial and
program systems and processes experience desirable--- Database
knowledge: Oracle, SQL Server--- Solid Microsoft Suite knowledge in
Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word--- Tools:
Rivermine, SAP,--- Understands how to execute, build, and get
things done with limited resources--- Solid problem-solving skills
(i.e., exercises independent judgment and discretion to perform
assigned tasks from low to average complexity using established
procedures, standards, and guidelines)--- Strong oral and written
communication skills--- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
and self-directed--- Strong presentation and interpersonal
