Job Summary:In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for working on cash management and banking projects or initiatives and continuously improving treasury management systems. This includes responsibility for managing projects (or portions of larger projects), collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional business partners and IT, and resolving customer issues as appropriate.Essential Responsibilities:+ Practices self-development and promotes learning in others by proactively providing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers; building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; influencing others through technical explanations and examples; adapting to competing demands and new responsibilities; listening and responding to, seeking, and addressing performance feedback; providing feedback to others; creating and executing plans to capitalize on strengths and develop weaknesses; supporting team collaboration; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.+ Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area; supporting the development of work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; ensuring team follows all procedures and policies; coordinating resources to accomplish priorities and deadlines; collaborating cross-functionally to make effective business decisions; solving complex problems; escalating high priority issues or risks as appropriate; and recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.+ Conducts company financial activities by providing support to finance and operations; performing reconciliation activities; ensuring financial transactions have adequate controls; and ensuring financial processes are fully documented.+ Develops treasury financial reports by evaluating and summarizing economic data, market conditions, and financial commitments; reporting to management on key financial/business drivers, liabilities, and performance indicators (e.g., funding issues, returns on investment, cash-related risks, etc.); and assisting with the development of draft presentations for conveying key findings.+ Performs financial analyses and interprets results to identify risks and opportunities by applying pro forma assumptions; and developing/using financial models consistent with regulatory, statutory, and legal guidelines and requirements.+ Assists with the management of projects or treasury components of larger cross-functional projects by coordinating stakeholder contacts; recommending team resources based on project needs and team member strengths; assisting in the development, analysis, and management of project plans; and coordinating project schedules and resource forecasts.+ Ensures compliance with regulatory, statutory, and legal controls by following policies and procedures to achieve compliance and control objectives (e.g., audit controls, financial commitments, etc.).+ Manages vendor contracts and transactions (e.g., lease agreements, investment portfolios, etc.) by working with financial/business partners; assisting in the negotiation and review of financial agreements in accordance with regulatory policies and guidelines; evaluating key performance indicators; and ensuring vendor performance meets established service level agreements. Minimum Qualifications:+ Minimum four (4) years experience in treasury or a directly related area.+ Minimum four (4) years experience working with financial analysis, concepts, and principles.+ Minimum four (4) years experience working with treasury management systems.+ Minimum four (4) years experience in cash management and banking.+ Minimum two (2) years project management experience.+ Bachelors degree in finance or related field and Minimum six (6) years experience in finance or a directly related field. Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.+ N/APreferred Qualifications:+ Two (2) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.+ Three (3) years contract, materials, or leasing management experience.+ Three (3) years experience in business analysis.+ Three (3) years experience in corporate risk management or claims management.+ Three (3) years experience in captive management.+ Three (3) years experience working cross-functionally across departments, functions, or business lines.+ Three (3) years health care experience in finance or operations.+ Three (3) years experience applying actuarial principals to risk management or finance management work activities.+ Three (3) years working with advanced Excel functions.+ Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.+ Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).+ Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA).+ Risk management certification (e.g., ARM, AIC, etc.).COMPANY: KAISERTITLE: Treasury Analyst IV, Treasury OperationsLOCATION: Oakland, CaliforniaREQNUMBER: 1055208External hires must pass a background check/drug screen.
