Our revolutionary electric, ventless, zero-emissions commercial coffee roaster uses clean technology and does not require gas lines or expensive ventilation. It s the most consistent and controllable roaster available, the lowest carbon footprint commercial roaster ever made, and was designed by coffee people who want a better future for coffee roasting. About the position

The Manufacturing Specialist plays a key role on Bellwether s manufacturing team, assembling subcomponents of Bellwether s electric roasters.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assemblies to specification
  
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  
• Maintain a high level of quality and safety in a fast-paced work environment
  
• Partner closely with team members in manufacturing and other departments to meet production goals
  
• Must be reliable and on time as assigned
  
• May be assigned other duties based on skill set and abilities
  Qualifications
  
  • Two or more years related experience in a manufacturing environment
    
  • Ability to read detailed OMS, diagrams and schematics
    
  • Experience with hand tools, electrical/electronics, crimping, connectorizing and other related operations
    
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic applications
    
  • English proficiency, written and verbal
    
  • Strong communication, attention to detail/accuracy, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
    
  • Team player with ability to thrive in a quickly-evolving, fast-paced environment

    Physical demands included below are required and necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Bellwether will make reasonable accommodations to enable people with diverse abilities to perform these essential functions.
    
    • Physical requirements: Ability to sit/stand/walk/squat or lay for various amounts of time during an 8 to 10 hour shift; frequent use of hands for grasping, turning and fine manipulation
      
    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs regularly, and up to 80 lbs occasionally
      
    • At times employee will be required to go into various areas of the facility subject to temp and humidity changes: office, lab and manufacturing
