OverviewPG&E's Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Services
(CRESS) organization is responsible for governing, planning,
acquiring, designing constructing, operating, and maintaining 7.7
million square feet (sq. ft.) of facilities throughout PG&E's
72,000 square mile service territory. - These facilities include
but are not limited to service centers, data centers, contact
centers, office buildings, shops, warehouses, construction and
equipment yards, vehicle maintenance garages, and meeting and
training facilities. -Position SummaryAs a Principal Business
Analyst, you will be modeling PG&E's Purpose, Virtues, and
Stands while working with key internal and external stakeholders to
support Business Operations, LEAN, and Regulatory Filings such as
the General Rate Case (GRC), Wildfire Mitigation and Catastrophic
Events (WMCE), Catastrophic Event Memorandum Account (CEMA)
filings, and other regulatory requirements to support CRESS
business operations. This position is also responsible for industry
benchmarking to support CRESS standards and best practices as well
as workflow for potential business model changes and financial
process improvements. - -PG&E is providing the salary range
that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this
position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is
specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an
individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not
limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications,
experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
-A reasonable salary range is: -Bay Area Minimum: $129,000Bay Area
Maximum: $207,000 -&/OR -California Minimum: $123,000California
Maximum: $197,000 -Job Responsibilities
- Foster an environment of Safety and Speak-up culture through

- Lead initiatives to analyze the most complex business problems
and issues using data from internal and external sources. Perform
research and collaborate with subject matter experts to support of
multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce
recommendations and plans based on company and external data
analysis.
- Lead cross functional and special projects to support business
operations.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Leads to support Regulatory filings
such as the GRC, WMCE, and CEMA. - Support WMP reporting.
- Support Demand Alignment and Occupancy Planning Process
Improvement
- Collaborate with Finance Leads to support process improvements
around budgeting, forecasting, operational models, and variance
reporting.
- Advise business leaders and address business issues, trends,
and opportunities through best practices and benchmarking
- Drive and support LEAN processes and visual management at
DORs/WORs/MORs and related dashboards and TIP sheets.
- Participate in the Facilities Coordination Center (FCC) that
supports company Emergency Operations. -QualificationsMinimum:
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics,
Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work
experience.
- 8 years of experience in business operations, strategy
development, planning, finance, real estate, and/or information or
data analysis -Desired:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or job-related discipline or
equivalent experience
- Corporate Real Estate experience within corporate services,
transaction management, construction, workplace design, or other
related strategic real estate planning experience.
- Corporate Real Estate planning knowledge of a diverse
organization with a large geographic presence, preferable in the
utility or service industry with a collection of office and service
center properties.
- Knowledge of PG&E operations, Functional Area objectives,
and the existing PG&E real estate portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement department wide
initiatives of the highest complexity and impact
- Financial background and experience with process controls,
budgeting, and forecasting
- Demonstrated Lean best practices
- Demonstrated ability to solicit, facilitate, and integrate
information from a variety of sources and expertise into actionable
resolution and mitigation plans
- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Experience solving complex problems through quantitative data
driven analysis, modeling, and experience using spreadsheet and
presentation tools for data visualization.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to
partner well with other team members and interface effectively with
all levels of management
- Demonstrated success influencing diverse customers or
stakeholders and leading teams that include non-direct reports in
cross-functional settings
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability
to succinctly interpret data for executives and frame business
issues in a straightforward manner
- Familiarity with Corporate Real Estate Integrated Workplace
Management Systems (IWMS)
- Proficient with Office 365 products including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
