The successful electrician will be part of a production driven team, performing electrical installations and troubleshooting. • Install cable support systems in new or existing buildings
• Mark and pull wires
• Establish cable pathways as prescribed by industry standards
• Terminate and test copper voice/data cables
• Install termination blocks, patch panels, and station hardware
• Installs security access controls and CCTV systems.
• Assist superintendent when directed
• Assist in maintaining job records
• Train and direct LV installers and apprentice helpers
• Cleanup work site each day
• Comply with all safety regulations
• Ability to read, analyze and decipher scopes of work
• Ability to use basic hand tools, punch down, shears, and crimp tools
• Ability to read floor plans
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing
• Other duties as assigned
• A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Building Codes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.PHYSICAL DEMANDS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Job requires wo Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, snow.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves always), respirator when required. -
  • Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime, and night shifts as required.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required.
  • Work from all type ladders (step ladders up to 14', "A" frame ladders and all size extension ladders
    and carry and relocate up to 12' step ladder by oneself.
  • Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.

The base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable -skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject -to change and may be modified in the future.
