Production Plannerpay: 25$ to 30$ per HourJob Description:The Production/Inventory Control Planner works alongside manufacturing to support production goals in the roastery. The planner is responsible for scheduling production across all of lines of craft coffee. The planner will also be responsible for structuring and performing analysis to support the roadmap for production capacity changes on the production floor. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in a high-rate production environment and familiarity with capacity planning and/or Sales & Operations planning processes. Job Responsibilities: --- Support manufacturing by creating production schedules that reconcile production capacity with demand for coffee, following the roastery's master schedule --- Perform analysis that supports defining the roadmap for production capacity increases/change --- Daily quality overview to verify accuracy of production entries into MRP system--- Responsible for staff augmentation - train, direct/assign and supervise temporary labor, and work with staffing agencies to add and reduce staff as necessary--- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information on the daily Production report to include (but not limited to); Order Point, Min/Max, On Hand Quantity, On Order Quantity, Available Quantity, and Quantity to Produce--- Work with manufacturing & support teams to establish & improve processes (e.g. production batch sizes, material transfer processes & controls) for 100% high quality fulfilment--- Respond to unanticipated changes (e.g., production shortfall vs. schedule or material shortages), provide information, impact assessment, and options to downstream lines, revise production shifts and or mix as needed --- Generate and publish production performance metrics and forecasts --- Assist in implementing systematic solutions to control inventory flow, minimize shortages, and --- Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: --- 5+ years' hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment --- Good organizational, forecasting and project management skills (role requires juggling long-term projects, daily tasks, and urgent questions ) --- Ability to solve problems in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision --- Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement in operations and reporting/information visibility --- Experience in developing and implementing new processes and systems.--- Enthusiasm for Coffee and Green Certified food manufacturing --- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.--- Experience with MRP systems in food manufacturing highly preferredPreferred Qualifications:--- Bachelor's DegreeTop Skills Details:Production scheduling, Planner, Production planning, Supply chain, Production, Planning scheduling, Inventory management, cycle counting, InventoryShift Timings:8 AM to 4 PM Monday to Friday About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
