This team works with business and technical stakeholders to obtain the best possible solutions for its clients.Its deliverables include providing estimates for MTC related work; developing an internal work plan with identified resources and target completion dates; and preparing requirements and functional designs. Each Analyst serves as a subject matter expert for assigned area of coverage with in-depth knowledge of the business practices and MTC functionality that supports it. In addition, the analyst is responsible for analyzing O&M and project defects to determine business and technical impact and providing input on the priority of fixing the defects.Position SummaryWe are looking for asenior levelIT applications analyst/designer in Billing/Financials team who can be a quick learner, thorough, organized, flexible to adapt in fast paced and dynamic environments. The analyst is mainly responsible for analyzing business requirements and developing function requirement and function design documents. In addition, the analyst is responsible for analyzing O&M and project defects to determine business/technical impact and providing recommendation on fixing the defects.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.---A reasonable salary range is:---Bay Area Minimum: $102,000.00Bay Area Mid-point: $132,000.00Bay Area Maximum: $162,000.00&/OR---California Minimum: $97,000.00California Mid-point: $125,000.00California Maximum: $154,000.00This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned location based on business need.ResponsibilitiesIdeation:Work with business organizations to provide input regarding enhancement feasibilityUsing business process knowledge, proactively look for opportunities for system enhancementsEvaluate and provide input to "business concept requirements"Prepare preliminary design for concept estimation purposesProject:Analyze/assemble requirementsProvide technical expertise and assistance in designing, testing and developing applicationsPerform feasibility analysis, design and provide recommendations on the alternative solutions, project strategy and deliverable prioritization, as well as system alternatives or enhancements to current systemsPrepare final functional requirement and functional design documentationConduct walkthrough of deliverables with business and obtain approval/signoffProvide SME support to developers and testersWork with business to document and analyze project change controlsSupport stabilization of deployed codeO&M:Troubleshoot potential MTC system issues to determine if there is a defectAnalyze production defects, identify business and system impacts and quantify problemsContribute to defect troubleshooting and solution designAssist business and technical teams with adhoc requestsProvide functional expertise to clients for resolving business issuesQualifications:Minimum:BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Financial, etc., or equivalent work experienceMinimum 4 years of experience in IT analyzing, designing and developing functional requirements and application functional designMinimum 3 years of working experience of Oracle CC&B application and data model (can have less experience in case of an advanced degree)Participation in projects of medium to high complexityFamiliarity with the corresponding Line of Business-related functionsDesired:Experience in CC&B billing financial, Energy Service Provide Direct Access, Community Choice Aggregation processesWorking knowledge of relational databases, including data querying is a plusBe able to design as an individual but within the framework of the team and productExcellent verbal and written communicationCollaborate with cross functional teams to maintain efficiency, consistency and achieve successful implementation of system enhancementWorking knowledge of MS Office suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
