job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer or Training Consultant to develop and deliver a comprehensive training program for our clients internal team. This role will focus on equipping the team with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully launch card programs within an issuer's environment in the community segment. We are specifically looking for someone who has very deep expertise in launching credit cards end-to-end within an issuer's environment as a project manager and can come in and develop and provide training to a team.

responsibilities:

  • Partner with our clients Program Manager to create or enhance training materials for card launch processes
  • Design and conduct a formal 4-8 hour training workshop for a small team
  • Provide ongoing support, consultation, and problem-solving assistance during a six-month post-training period
  • Be available on-call to address questions and challenges as our team works on active card launch projects
  • Document best practices and common issues for future reference
  • Refine training materials based on real-world implementation feedback
    qualifications:
    • Extensive hands-on experience as a project manager launching card programs end-to-end within issuer environments
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs specifically for credit card launches
    • Strong understanding of card issuance processes, regulations, and industry best practices
    • Proven track record of developing effective training curricula and materials
    • Experience conducting interactive workshops and training sessions
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to explain complex processes in clear, accessible terms
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities in the card launch environment
    • 5+ years of experience in the credit card or payments industry
      skills:
      • Exceptional communication skills
      • Prior experience working with community financial institutions
      • Knowledge of issuer environments and implementation challenges
      • Background in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
      • Experience providing post-training support and consultation
      • Project management skills
