Position Summary
This position applies professional concepts to coordinate with each Title IX office to understand information requirements, collect and analyze data, and conduct analytical studies to identify and report on trends and patterns. The Title IX Analyst prepares reports and assists with developing strategies and action plans based on the findings.

The Systemwide Title IX office provides direction and support for the Title IX offices at the University's 10 campuses and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), as well as the Office of the President. We assist in implementing systemwide initiatives and best practices in harassment prevention and response. We also provide investigative support and develop and deliver education and training to Title IX offices and other university partners involved in preventing and responding to sexual harassment and sexual violence.

Gathers and assembles analytical and factual data on assigned problems and prepares specifications for reports and analysis based on needs and required / available data elements.

Analyzes complex Title IX trends and patterns using data to provide insight to the Systemwide Title IX Director and Systemwide Deputy Title IX Director.

Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in data sets to locate influences. Assists in the development of strategic / tactical plans based on case data and knowledge of UC and non-UC institutions.

Optimizes the performance of the case management tool by updating data and other elements to filter and index that add value to all users. Provides day to day facilitation of the case management system.

Works with all Response Team Coordinators at each Title IX Office to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Point of contact for all data related issues or questions. Data Collection

Prepares meeting agendas, reports, and presentations of data and analysis.

Coordinates meetings and events hosted by the department. Gather and organize information from multiple sources such as feedback and proposed agenda items.

May perform a variety of duties in support of the department overall. Administrative Support

Coordinates with campuses' internal and external stakeholders. Gathers and synthesizes information from the campus Title IX offices and their campus partners to inform and facilitate various projects of Systemwide Title IX Office.

Relays updates and information about Systemwide Title IX Office initiatives to the campuses.

Helps plan and organize periodic systemwide Title IX meetings (telephonic and in-person). Campus Coordination

Bachelor's degree and four years progressively responsible experience in a high level administrative positions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills, active listening, critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to draft correspondence, edit, and prepare documents in an appropriate format. Oral communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.

Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.

Demonstrated ability to independently track, organize and prioritize workload, including resource management. Ability to adjust easily to new or changing circumstances, flexibility to manage competing tasks and deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to seek and gather information from a variety of sources including electronic media and multiple data collection systems. Must have the ability to analyze data for accuracy.

Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and various data management systems, including Visio, Publisher and Outlook. Required
